At South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity, our Building on Faith initiative brings together faith communities from across the region to build homes, foster unity, and support affordable housing. We believe that by working together, we can create a more inclusive, compassionate, and supportive community.
What is Building on Faith?
Building on Faith is an annual initiative where local faith groups unite to volunteer their time, skills, and resources to help construct homes for families, individuals, and Veterans in need. This initiative not only addresses the critical need for affordable housing but also strengthens the bonds within our diverse community.
How You Can Get Involved
Volunteer:
Join us on the build site! No construction experience is necessary—our skilled team will provide all the training you need. Gather your congregation, family, or friends, and make a tangible difference together.
Donate:
Your financial support is crucial to our mission. Every donation, big or small, helps us purchase materials and cover the costs of construction. Consider making a one-time gift or setting up a recurring donation to sustain our efforts year-round. This also includes providing in-kind lunches, snacks, and coffee for our volunteers and team on-site!
Pray:
We welcome your prayers for the safety of our volunteers, the well-being of the families we serve, and the success of our projects. Your spiritual support is a powerful contribution to our mission.
